Mary Alexandria and D.F. (Dugald Ferguson) married in 1894. He had arrived to minister at St. 1891 and retired from that 1898, after which he & Mary Alexandria farmed until his death Friday, May 12th, 1916. He died quite quickly following a stroke. They had no children.

D.F. McMillan was born in the parish of Kilcolmonell, Kintyre, Scotland, in the year 1837. He studied for the ministry in Glasgow and Edinburgh Universities. In 1885 he came to Ontario, and studied at Knox College, Toronto, graduating from that institution in 1887.

He & Mary Alex ran the post office for the Benbecula district. They were joined by his sister Betty McMillan in 1888 & then, in 1909, niece Elizabeth & nephews Hugh & Dugald McMillan. These relatives were children of D.F. McMillan's brother, Hugh. I'm not sure what happened to Elizabeth. Betsy and Hugh are buried in St.Paul's. Dugald fought in WWI, returning wounded. He died in Calgary in 1952.

Hugh ran the Benbecula postal station from the time Mary Alex moved off the farm about 1921 until the office was closed in 1931.

Another niece arrived in 1925. This was Christina, also daughter of D.F. McMillan's brother Hugh. Christina was married to Alexander McCrone. Their daughter, Christina, married Angus McDonald (nephew to Mary Alexandria).
