Death Of Shelby County Citizen
Follows Illness Of Many Months

Joseph Corwin, age 61, died at his home south of this city in Shelby Township at 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning. Death was due to a complication of disease from which he had suffered many months.

Mr. Corwin was born near Old Middletown, Indiana, April 25, 1865 and was the son of Milton and Jemina (Everson) Corwin.

He was a member of the Waldron Methodist Church and was well known and highly respected in his community.

Surviving Mr. Corwin are these children: Mrs. Margaret Tresler of Florida, Mrs. Josephine Dungan of Acton, and William Corwin of LaPorte; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Rogers and Mrs. Margaret Wharton, both of Shelbyville, and Mrs. Lon Landen of Rush county; one brother James Corwin, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the London M.E. Church with the Rev. C.B. Atkinson of Waldron officiating.

Burial will be in the London cemetery in charge of Charles M. Ewing, funeral director.
