Mary Mae Stoehr 92, of 1906 2nd Ave., died at 10:30 a.m. SUnday, Aug 26, 1979, in her home, after a brief illness.

She was born Oct 8, 1886, in Altoona, the daughter of Andrew and Susan (George) Boslet, and married Frederick M. Stoehr, who died May 13, 1962.

Surviving are six children, Father Edward OFM of Cumberland, Md., Mrs. Agnes Andrasko of New York City, Mrs. Genevieve Huber, Bernard E. and Vincent A. of Altoona, and Martin G. of Clearwater, Fl.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stoehr was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary.


STOEHR - The funeral of Mary Mae Stoehr of 1906 2nd Ave. will be held with a mass of Christian burial at noon Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
