Milton E. Earle, 81, of 3486 Route 31, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Earle was born in Fort Covington and lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. He retired in 1972 after 46 years employment with Syracuse Glass Co. Mr. Earle was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a ham radio operator for 32 years.
Mr. Earle was one of the original charter members of the Moyers Corners Fire Department. He was a longtime member of the Liverpool Rod and Gun Club.
His wife, Hazel, died March 9.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice Thompson of Baldwinsville and Karen Cooper of Liverpool; two sons, Loren B. of Liverpool and James R. of Baldwinsville; a sister, Evelyn Denny of Malone; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners Chapel, with the Rev. David Roppel officiating. Burial will be in Boylston-Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
