VERGENNES - Bradie P. Forester Jr., 75, died Jan. 15, 2005, at Helen Porter Health & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
He was born March 16, 1929, in Stowe, the son of Bradie Sr. and Helen (Newcity) Forester.
He was in the U.S. Air Force for four years.
Mr. Forester was employed by General Electric in Burlington and in Rutland. He was on the ski patrol at Okemo and Smugglers Notch. He went into the antiques and real estate business in Mount Holly and Middlebury. He also worked at Simmonds Precision in Vergennes, retiring in April 1993.
He belonged to the American Legion Post 14 and Addison County Eagles Club 3801 in Vergennes.
Survivors include his wife, Nora (Pete) Forester of Vergennes; three stepchildren, Robert Champine and Leslie Champine, both of Vergennes, and Lorraine Barr of Shelburne; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes.
Burial will be in the spring in Laurel Glenn Cemetery in Cuttingsville.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
