Nuptial Event occurred at Central M. E. Parsonage June 12, 1912

Miss Leone Densteadt of Williamsburg and Homer George Brown, formerly of Leland, now of this city were married at high noon Wednesday at the Central M.E. Church, Rev. W.W. Mckee officiating. Miss Stella Denstaedt, sister of the bride was maid of honor and Phili Tobin acted as best man. Among the guests were Mrs Densteadt, mother of the bride, Mrs and Mrs Moore and daughter Eloise of Elk Rapids and Miss Gladys Brown sister of the groom. Mr Brown is employed at the Traverse City State Hospital and the young people will make their home in the city.

1940 Census: Homer is married to Harriet Lovejoy and their is a son Leon b. 1931 living with them. Is this a son of Leone's? Leon George Brown b. 1 Feb 1929 in Detroit, Wayne, MI d. 4 July 1972 in Detroit, Wayne, MI. She didn't live long enough to see her children grow up or enjoy them. Her life was filled with much sorrow.

Harriet & Homer were married in 1940 and they divorced in 1943
