Dorothy V. Bagley, 96, died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Christian Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born August 20, 1913, in Alton to Ephraim and Leila (Reed) Alexander.
On October 5, 1935, in Alton, she married Gerald T. Bagley, Sr. He preceded her i ndeath on july 23, 1975.
She was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Alton.
Surviving are two nieces, Pat Fischer and her husband, Chris, of Godfrey and ColleenDepper of Godfrey; three grandchildren, Adam Bagley and his wife, Holly, of Cayce, South Carolina, Mareen Treese of Tempe, Arizona, and Brett Bagley and his wife, Donna, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; five great-grandchildren; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gerald T. Bagley, Jr; one brother, Albert Alexander; one sister, Lucille Beaty; and a grandson-in-law, Eric Treese.
Visitation will be from 10 until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Grace United Methodist Church in Alton, with the Rev. Charles Schwaab to officiate.
Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
