Barbary Miller was born in Rockingham Co., VA and the daughter of Abraham Miller and Elizabeth Brumback. She married Joseph Beery on 2 May 1812 and settled in Marion Twp Hocking Co., Ohio. Joseph died ca 1848. Widow Barbara continued to live on the farm with her son Abraham until his death after which time, she then moved it with her dau Sally Welty for 17 years. She then went to Indiana and lived 2 years with her daughter Elizabeth Welty; came back to Ohio and lived with Sally Welty again for one year. She then went to Iowa and lived with her daughter Sophia Geil for 12 years until her death on May 2, 1891 at age 97 years. She was a member of the River Brethren Church.

Barbary Miller was born in Rockingham Co., VA and the daughter of Abraham Miller and Elizabeth Brumback. She married Joseph Beery on 2 May 1812 and settled in Marion Twp Hocking Co., Ohio.
