Charleston - Guy Baker, 76, formerly of Charleston, died Sunday in North Platt, Neb.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Cemetery, south of Charleston. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time at the Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston.
Mr. Baker was born April 9, 1899, in Coles County, the son of Isaac W. and Ella M. Anderson Baker. He married the former Irena J. Hilty, July 12, 1929 at the University of Nebraska North Platt Station. She survives.
Other survivors include two brothers, Earl A. Baker of North Platt, Neb. and Dr. Marvel L. Baker of Lincoln, Neb. and four sisters: Mrs. Martin Fritz of Ames, Iowa; Mrs. Ernest Kennedy of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Susie Josties of Sterling, Colo., and Mrs. Lella Woody of Laramie, Wyo.
