"Presque Isle County lost a lifelong resident on Saturday with the death of Ervin Reisener, 59, member of a well-know Hagensville family. Mr. Reisener, hose home was on 441 Road was admitted to Rogers City Hospital on Thursday and died there at noon on Saturday.

He was born in Hagensville, February 26, 1920. His marriage to Viola Gemmil of Rogers City took place June 1, 1946. In earlier years with his father and brother, he engaged in farming, but for several years had been employed at U.S. Steel's Calcite plant and at the time of his death was a locomotive brakeman.

A prayer service was held Monday evening at 8:30 at McWilliams Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Parker officiated at the funeral rites at St. John Lutheran Church in Hagensville Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial be made to the Rogers City Hospital Coronary Care Unit."
