Brought Back to Buffalo
The body of Carl Noland, 55 year old native of Buffalo was returned to that community for burial Saturday. He passed away Wednesday of last week at his Detroit, Mich, home.
Mr Noland was born Sept 24, 1900, at Buffalo, the son of Dr and Mrs J W Noland and was married to Ersel Smith of Monon. For the past 30 years the family had lived in Detroit.
Services were held at the Miller Chapel, Monticello Saturday afternoon with the Rev Lester Niles officiating. Burial was in the Buffalo cemetery.
Surviving with the wife are five sisters, Gertrude Kitchen of Kokomo, Ethel Wilson of Kentland, Velma Pluimer of Fowler, Cora Howell and Mildred Broadwater of Monticello, and two brothers, John W of Willmar, Minn, and Alonzo E of Waukegan, Ill.
