MARY LOU SHILLING
Mary Lou Shilling, 81, of Farwell, passed away on November 2, 1008 at Prestige Place in Clare, Michigan. She was born on November 15, 1927 in Gilmore Township, the daughter of David and Leah (Elliott) Wiggins. She was married to John Shilling on September 20, 1947 at the Farwell United Methodist Church. She worked aws a clerk with the United States Postal Service in Clare. She was a member of the Farwell United Methodist Church, the Farwell Women's Club and the Eastern Stars.
Mar Lou is survived by John, her husband of 61 years; two sons, Donald Shilling of Evans, GA, Bill and wife Dawn Shilling of Farwell; one daughter, Diane and husband Gary Updyke of Sunfield, MI; three sisters, Virginia Holder of Midland, Berniece Cashin and husband Gene of Midland, Donna Scott and husband Delmar of Farwell; four grandchildren, Joshua, Marissa, Drew, and Blake; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Katie and Nick. She was preceded in death by two brothers Boyd Wiggins, Donald Wiggins and one grandson, Matthew. Donations may be made to Hunters Hope and to Woodland Hospice.
