Funeral services for Mr. Eskew Harris, 84, of the Anderson community of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene McCowan officiating.
Burial was in Phillips Cemetery.
Mr. Harris died Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey. Retired from Indiana Glass in Dunkirk, IN, he was a member of Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church and Local 501 Flint Worker Union in Dunkirk.
Born June 3, 1921, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Martin Emmet and Josie Lou (Denton) Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie V. (McCowan) Harris.

Survivors include 2 sons, Troy Harris and Danny Harris, both of the Anderson community; 3 daughters, Betty Harris and Renee Williams, both of the Anderson community, and Carylon Wilson of Cookeville; a brother, Foster Harris of the Mineral Springs community; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
