Funeral services for Vera Howard were held at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at Scott Bros. Chapel, W.O. Cooper officiating. Internment was in Center Point Cemetery. She died in Palmdale, Calif. 20 April.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Tucker, she was born May 8, 1893 in Spanish Fort. She was married William Brintz "Butch" Howard, who prededed her in death Sept. 4 1949. Mrs. Howard was a Past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of First Christian Church in Palmdale, Calif.
Survivors are two daughters, Zona Jones of Littlerock, Calif. and Opal Austin of Bakersfield, Calif.: a sister, Docia Brown of Henrietta: 11 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchilren.
