Rites Set For Mrs. Allen, 102, Services for Mrs. Julia(Deem)Allen, 102, mother of Jefferson Griffin of Shelbyville, who died Wednesday in Rushville, will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wyatt-Moore Funeral Home in Rushville.
Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery near Morristown. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
Mrs. Allen was born in Franklin Co. Kentucky, Sept. 1. 1865, and had been a resident of Rushville since 1943, making her home with relatives at the Hauk Trailer Court.
She had been at the Jackson Nursing Home since last Dec. 26, where she died.
Survivors include two other sons, Leonard Griffin, Rushville, and Calip Griffin, Covington, Ky. and 39 grandchildren.
