FARWELL - Ruby Lea Bone Green, 95, formerly of San Jon, N.M., died Thursday, July 1, 2010, in Clovis, N.M.

Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of San Jon with the Rev. Stan Austin of Farwell and the Rev. Roy Mitchell of Mosquero, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in San Jon Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari, N.M.

Ruby was born Jan. 17, 1915, in Cuero, DeWitt County, to Benjamin Franklin Bone and Lille Mae Shannon Bone.

Ruby was a longtime resident of the Porter, N.M., and San Jon communities. She loved the Lord and her church, the San Jon First Baptist Church. She was baptized in 1927 in Porter along with her twin sister, Rught.

She married Lacy J. Green on Dec. 7, 1932, with him preceding her in death on May 18, 1988.

She moved to Farwell in July 2004 and had been a member of Farwell First Baptist Church since that time. She also was a member of the Rebekas Lodge.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and aunt as well as a friend to all.

Survivors include five children, Clinton Green and wife Joyce of Earth, Novella Thomas and husband Eldon of Jones, Okla., Shirley Terrill and husband Bob Angeley of Texico, N.M., Corky Green and wife Jan of Oklahoma and Cinty Littlejohn and husband Michael of Borger; along with a nephew who was practically raised as their own, Don Allen and wife Sally of Midlothian; 15 grandchildren; 33 three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends.
