ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. -- Funeral services for Mack Fields, 69, of St. Petersburg, Fla., who died Wednesday morning at a local hospital, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church near Danville, Rev. Wayne Penn officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lelah Fields of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Morris of Danville; a brother, Lewis E. Fields of Danville.
Harold Morris, Troy Hall, Edward Fields, J. C. Fields, Milford Fields, and Don Fields will be pallbearers.
Mr. Fields was a World War II veteran.
The body will arrive at Peck Funeral Home Friday afternoon and will remain there until time to be taken to the church where it will lie in state for one hour before services.
