served three consecutive terms as
Mayor; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kane put forth
his time and effort in an unself.

ed away on the l1th day of Novem-
ber, 1964, and the City Council
wishes to express its sadness at
the loss of an exemplary senior
citizen:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RE-
SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE:
That this resolution serve as a
token of appreciation of Mr.
Kane's service to the community
and also as an expression of our
sadness at his passing.
BE IT FURTHER REsOLVED:
That this resolution be made a
matter of public record and that
a copy of said Resolution be for.
warded to Mr. Kane's widow.
