Mrs. Ida Hopkins Russell, 83, whose home was in Tacoma and vicinity for more than half a century before moving to Seattle 10 years ago, died Friday in a Seattle hospital. Her husband was a brick mason contractor and helped in the erection of many of the town's finest buildings. Mrs. Russell is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nettie Van Eaton of Yakima, and several nephews and nieces.
