Business Executive and Yachtsman. He graduated from Harvard University in 1883. Park then began a successful business career in New York City, including serving as a senior partner of Catlin and Company, a dry goods firm founded by his father in law, Vice President of the American Trading Company, an import-export firm, and member of the board of directors for several banks and other companies. Park was also active in yacht racing as a member of the American Yacht Club, the New York Yacht Club, and others. He was also a golfer, and his Purchase, New York home is now the Old Oaks Country Club. Park died at New York Hospital following an operation for an intestinal ailment. Friends and family also believed that the death of his daughter Elliott (she fell through a skylight on the roof at his home in January, 1907) contributed to his decline.
