Born Feb. 2, 1973, in Sikeston, to Alice Fowler Ross of Matthews and the late James Ross, she was a housewife and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews.
On Nov. 9, 2000, in Matthews, she married John Makin, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2003.
Survivors include: one son, Trenton Scott Makin; one daughter, Tiffany Amber Makin; one brother, Jimmy Ross; one sister, Kim Watson; her maternal grandfather, Grady Fowler; and her fiance, Richard Morgan, and his children, Landon and Maddie Morgan.
Visitation was at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services were with the Rev. Rodney Dunlap, pastor of the First Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial followed in the Matthews Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Steve Brewer, Steven Lynn, Chris Archie, Robbie Bailey, Eric Vines and Roger Garza.
