Ralph Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston. Born February 28, 1893 in Mexia, Texas, Frances was a retired apartment manager and a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Galveston, Texas. Survivors include one daughter, Josephine Ewy Jones; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Ewy; eight grandchildren, Janis Stifflemire, Debbie Micheletti, Joni Huepers, Diane Riley, Denise Rojas, Paula Fisher, Betty Jean McMillan and Billy Saenz; twenty one great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ewy; daughter, Edith V. Cloutier and son, Edward J. Ewy. Pallbearers will be Rick Huepers, John Micheletti, Lance Stifflemire, Calvin Riley Jr., Tommy Garland and Taylor Jakes. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Rojas, Edward Freeman, and Vincent Megale.
