Mrs. F.M. Pilcher, 70, died at her home July 11, 1960 following a protracted illness.
Mrs. Pilcher was born November 11, 1889 to Milton J and Kathryn Ruth (Mulanax) Curtis in Doniphan County, Kansas. She was married to Frank McIntosh Pilcher in Nebraska (my records show Delphos, KS) October 21, 1906, and they made their home in that state (again, my records show they lived in several Kansas communities, including Westphalia and Lebo) until coming to Humboldt in 1932. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lytle, Albuquerque, NM, and Mrs. Ruth Horn, Niagara Falls, NY; five sons, Milton of Concordia, Carl of Walnut Creek, CA; Rober of Clear Lake Highlands, CA, William of El Paso, and Richard Pilcher, Humboldt; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Ramsey, Concordia, and Mrs. Mable Anderson, Needles, CA, 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Orville Mason at 2 pm Thursday in the Humboldt Baptist Church. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
