Carrie Calhoun married Quiller A. Griffin in 1915 in Georgia and they're in Pinellas county Florida by 1917. Back in Savannah by 1920 but returned to the Tampa Florida area where Carrie's three surviving children were born. Carrie moved to Jeff Davis County Georgia by 1930 and remained there for the rest of her days. She died at a Wheeler County hospital. She was survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gloris Meray of Savannah, two sons, Dewey Griffin of Savannah and Eustus Griffin of Parris Island, S.C. ; three brothers, Sam and Lucian Calhoun, both of Lumber City, and Dave Calhoun of Alma, and a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Kamalakis of Bloomingdale, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
