KENTON - Final rites for Frank Oates, 47, of Route 4, Kenton who died Thursday at his home from a heart attack, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Schindewolf-Steiner funeral home. The Rev. Hilliard Camp will officiate and burial will be in Grove cemetery.
Born in Pleasant-tp, May 28, 1904, he was a member of the Elks lodge and Greenwood Grange. On July 5, 1923, he was married to Edna Archer, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Frank Jr., Robert Gerald, both of Kenton, Jack and James, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Newfer of Rushsylvania; two granddaughters; two brothers, Emanual and Pearl, both of Kenton; six sisters, Mrs. Esther Temple, Mrs. Louise Garner, Mrs. Howard Bowman, Mrs. Hugh Bowman, Mrs. Lester Shrider and Mrs. George Battles, all of Kenton.
