Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Joan Overly Andersen, 73, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2010 while surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Joan was born January 11, 1937 in Provo, Utah to Andrew and Alene Overly.

She married her eternal sweetheart, Ronald L. Andersen, on July 12, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Joan's greatest joy in life was her family. She holds a very special place in each of their hearts. All believed they were her favorite.

Joan served faithfully in many different callings for the LDS Church, most recently her and Ron were serving an LDS Mission in the Salt Lake Inner City Service Mission, 9th Ward, Liberty Stake. This was a great blessing in her life and she truly loved those whom she served.
