Miss Katherine Leslie Sinclair, who died Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Hopewell, was buried in the family cemetery at "Sherwood", Naxera, at 3 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday).
Miss Sinclair was a daughter of the late Jefferson Sinclair, III, and Lucy Rowena Baytop Sinclair, of Marlfield Plantation, Naxera, where she was born Dec. 12, 1880.
Miss Sinclair retired five years ago as supervisor of Hopewell elementary schools. She formerly taught and was principal of schools in Hampton.
She is survived by four sisters, Miss Lucy M. Sinclair and Miss Lila W. Sinclair of Hopewell, Miss Martha M. Sinclair of Alexandria, and Mrs. William Lindsay, of Arlington; one brother, the Rev. Thomas Lowry Sinclair, of New Orleans, La., a retired Episcopal minister.
