Military Burial for War Veteran
Bernard J. Shea, World War veteran and electrical contractor, of 169 Whalley Avenue, who died yesterday after a two month's illness, will be buried Monday morning with a military funeral. Funeral services will take place from the home of his mother, Mrs. Bridget Byrne Shea, at 577 Elm Street, at 8:30, with a mass at St. Brendan's Church at 9. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery where a firing squad and bugler will give the last military rites to the departed brother-in-arms.
Mr. Shea was in his 39th year and leaves his wife, Helen Marie Lawlor Shea; three children, Helen, 6; Bernard, 5; and John, 3; two sisters, Margaret and Jane Shea and a brother John. The deceased was a successful electrical contractor with an establishment at 29-1/2 Broadway.
