Chares C. "Dutch" Abbott Jr., Jeffersonville Road died Monday in a Warner Robins hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the new section Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mike Blizzard and the Rev. C.R. Elder will officiate. Mr. Abbott, a native of Birmingham, Ala., had lived in Macon for 15 years, moving here from San Antonio, Texas. He retired from the Army after 26 years. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Disabled Americans Veterans and the American Legion. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. W. R. Dorset of Macon, a niece, Mrs. Judy Dorset Acosta, of Atlanta. Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
