APOPLEXY PROVES FATAL
Henry C. Prosser, 67, Died Friday Following Stroke.
Henry C. Prosser, ten miles southeast of Edina, died at his home at 5 o'clock Friday morning following a stroke of apoplexy last Thursday night. He had been in Edina that day. Mr. Prosser was 67 years old.
Funeral services were conducted at the Harmony Church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon by the Rev. O. B. Hobbs of Novelty. Burial was in the Harmony cemetery.
Mr. Prosser is survived by his widow and a son, Roy E. Prosser, who, with his wife, has made his home with his parents the last two years. Four sisters also survive: Mrs. Anna Mitchell and Mrs. Ruby Baker, Edina; Mrs. Ellen Walters, Cherry Box, and Mrs. Dora Bevel [sic], Steffenville. A sister, Mrs. Minnie Barnhill, died in August, 1930; another, Mrs. Betty Brown, eight years ago, and a brother, Allen Prosser, in 1901.
Henry C. Prosser was born in Knox County March 23, 1863, a son of George and Rebekah Prosser. He married Miss Belle Waters [sic] of Edina Dec. 23, 1884, and to them were born the son, who survives, and another who died in infancy.
