Everette C., ""Bart'', 82, went to be with the Lord Aug 12, 1988 at Presbyterian Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born March 18, 1906 in Frost, TX. He was an Okla. City resident for 60 years. He was a longtime member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 344 and held many offices in the organization. He was highly regarded in his profession and was with the W. A. Landers Company from 1947 until retirement in 1973. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He was an ""overcomer'' in many ways. He and his special qualities will be remembered and greatly missed by family, friends, neighbors and medical people whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, May 9, 1982. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, whom he loved as a son, Nancy and C. M. McIlvoy; 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Teri Butler; her husband, Randy, Rick McIlvoy, his wife, Michelle and Randy McIlvoy all of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Mrs. Sammy Thompson, Miss Dot Barton both of Waco, TX; a number of other friends and relatives in Oklahoma and Texas.
