Fred H. Garrison, 87, of 2809 Park Ave., died Monday, Nov 23, 1998, in Indianapolis.
A Fayette County native, he was born May 24, 1911, in Columbia Township to Omer and Pearl Hood Garrison. He was employed at National Metal from 1960 to 1968 and was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church.
On August 8, 1952, in Pendleton, he married the fomer Dortha L. Schneider, who died Aug. 29, 1996.
Survivors incloude a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Highfield of Indianapolis; and three stepgrandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren, a brother-in-law and several sisters-in-;aw.
In addition to his wife, he was precided in death by his parents; two brothers, Woodrow and Glen Garrison and two sisters, Grace Myers and Helen Scott.
Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m at Showalter-Blackwell-Long,Myers Chapel. Internemnt will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
