Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, for Mrs. Ella Kirkpatrick Samples, who passed away Thursday, death resulting from diabetes and bronchitis. She was born at Cottonwood Point, July 11, 1856, being at the time of her death aged 80 years, eight months and 28 days.
The deceased was the mother of the late Artie Kirkpatrick and for the last year or two had been making her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Artie Kirkpatrick.
Services were held at the residence, conducted by the Rev. W.L. Meyer. Interment was made in Little Prairie cemetery with LaForge service.
