Vance and Lance were twins born 2 months premature. They each weighed about 2lbs 2oz when they were born. Vance lived 5 days and passed away. My father Lance was not expected to live much longer, and six months later went home from the hospital with a prognosis that he wouldn't live to 5 years old. Needless to say, he proved all the doctors wrong and lived a full and normal life. Dad always said he felt a kindred pull from his twin Vance, and it was hard for him at times to reconcile why he lived and Vance didn't. I know that Dad's questions have now been answered and he is now with his brother and parents in heaven.
