Edwin Lindberg Clark passed from this earth on Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at the University of Utah Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born June 7, 1929, to Marcellus and Hilda Lindberg Clark and grew up in both Tooele and Grantsville. As a young man Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to work with his hands, creating many beautiful pieces of furniture. He was employed for several years at the Tooele Smelter and Tooele Mercantile. He built Vista Liner Campers and was employed for a time as a Las Vegas City building inspector. He is survived by his wife, Joy Sample Clark; children: Brad (Kathy), Bill, Mike (Carol), Shelly; stepdaughter Ginger (Mike); brother, John L. (Janet) Clark; sister Marlene (Winslow) Young; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edith Joy Barrus and daughter, Autumn Joleen Cruz. Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2004, at Tate Mortuary in Tooele. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and funeral will begin at 11 a.m. in the mortuary chapel. Interment will follow at the Tooele City Cemetery.
