Edmond A. Raymond, 74, Kansas City in Platte County, died June 26, 1994, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Drehmann-Harrel Chapel, St. Louis; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Drehmann-Harrel Chapel and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Newcomer's White Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Raymond was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in St. Louis before he moved to Kansas City in 1972. He was a tower chief at Kansas City International Airport for five years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Air Traffic Controllers Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. His wife, Mary Raymond, died in 1980.

Survivors include a son, Scott H. Raymond, Midland, Texas; a daughter, Susan Raymond, Wright City, Mo.; a sister, B. Mokry, Omaha; and two grandchildren. He is also survived by a companion, Carolyn Abbott of the home.
