Ann, wife of Mr. George W. Patterson, died at her home on Newry street, Gays-port, on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Deceased had been in ill health for the past two years. Mrs. Patterson was a daughter of the late William and Ann Barr, and was born at Blairsviile. ' She came to Gaysport with her father's family in 1839." In 1847 she was joined in wedlock to Mr. Patterson, and has resided in Gaysport continuously since that time. In addition to her husband, five daughters and two son9 survive, viz; Clara, Delia, wife of Robert C. Johnston, esq.; Mrs. Lillie Campbell, Mrs. Emma King, of Massachusetts; Anna, at home; Frank, clerk at the Altamonte hotel, Altoona, and George, of Gaysport. Major S. S. Barr, of Hollidaysburg. is a brother. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church for more than forty years. The funeral arrangements had not been perfected last evening.
