Funeral Services for George L. Kinnaird, 67, who died at his home, 600 Laurel Street, here yesterday afternoon after a long illness. Services will be conducted at the home this afternoon. Burial will take place in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Kinnaird, who was born here and reared in Putnam County, had been in Detroit, MI for several years, and was well and favorably known here. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Sophronia Kinnaird and the following children: Mrs. W. H. Chapin and Mrs. J.L. Duckett of Cookeville; Mrs. Whitney R. Ray of Baxter; W. J. and I. M. Kinnarid and Mrs. W. M. Woods of Detroit, MI; Mrs. S. K. Wilson of Sparta; and Mrs. Enon (Verna Alice) Maddux of Artesian, CA. A brother, R. M. Kinnaird of Cookeville also survives.
Note: Enon Maddux lived near Buffalo Valley at the end of the driveway of Ted & Carolyn Huddleston on Hopewell Rd., Silver Point, TN. Enon Maddux moved to CA to be near his son. His son was a lawyer.
