Flossie Ione Seidel, 97 of Du Quoin formerly of Sorento passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Fair Acres in Du Quoin.

She was born March 27, 1910 in Reno, IL to the late Louis and Leora (Webster) Alexander. She married George 0. Seidel on August 10, 1946 in Sorento; he preceded her in death in 1982.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Louis Alexander; 4 Sisters; 1 Brother.

Mrs. Seidel was a homemaker.

Survivors: Daughter, Lulla P. of Elkville, IL; Son, George E. (Jackie) S. of Cooper, Maine; Daughter in Law, Ethel A. of Carlinville, IL; 14 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great Great Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 26 at 11:00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with her grandson the Pastor Pruitt officiating, Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery at Reno.

Memorials are suggested to the Reno Baptist Church.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento was in charge of arrangements.
