Amanda Elizabeth "Mandy" Brock (twin) was born on 5 Jan 1863 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., Arkansas to David L. Brock and Amanda Roe.
Mandy had the following sibling born of this union:

Mandy also had the following half-siblings from her father's second marriage to Mary May (Thomas):
Nancy Alice Brock,
Martha "Mattie" Caroline Brock,
William Simpson "Simp" Brock,

Amanda "Mandy" Elizabeth Brock and William Henry Hankins, son of Enoch G. Hankins and Tenney "Tinzy" (Thomas) Hankins, married on 17 Nov 1881 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., Arkansas.

One of Jonesboro's pioneer residents passed away yesterday afternoon when Mrs. Mandy Elizabeth Gibson, 83, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. I. Puckett at Bono.
She was born near Jonesboro and lived in Jonesboro all of her life having lived with her son on 219 S. Allis for the past few years.
Mrs. Gibson was a fine Christian character having been a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church since childhood and she was very active in church work until her health failed.
She is survived by two sons, A. L. Gibson and W. P. Gibson, both of Jonesboro, one daughter, Mrs. R. I. Puckett of Bono, one stepdaughter, Mrs. J. H. Carter of Lake City, two half-sisters, Mrs. Belle Willey and Mrs. May Albright, both of Jonesboro, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Herman Church with Rev. Frank Waite officiating minister and Rev. A. B. Thomas assisting.
Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery with Farmers Union Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will be grandsons of the deceased.
