Last rites for Lafayette Brower, age 66, were conducted at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Chickasha Funeral Home by Rev. by Rev. H. E. Cook. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bower died about 3:30 o'clock Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. L. Collins, 824 Idaho avenue.
For the past four months Mr. Bower has made his home in Chickasha. He came here from Arkansas City, Kansas where he had lived for ten years.
Special music for the services was offered by a quartet composed of Miss Juanita Martin, I. D. Humphrey and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Ball. Their numbers included "Abide With Me." Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Asleep In Jesus."
Surviving members of the family included : one daughter, Mrs. O.C. Collins; two sons, John Brower of Chickasha and Alvin Brower of Duncan; two stepsons Alvin Powell of Guthrie and Paschal Powell of Los Angeles, CA and 16 grandchildren.
