Mr. Carr was born in Utah to Charles William and Charlotte (Fields) Carr.
He was raised in California.
He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star medal.
He then moved to Klamath Falls, where he worked as a taxi cab driver before starting a career as a truck driver for Stukel Rock & Paving.
Mr. Carr loved to listen to Rush Limbaugh and being with his grandson. He enjoyed his pets and being a jack of all trades.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Ron Blofsky of Keno; grandson and his girlfriend Jason Blofsky and Beth Williams of Newport; and great-grandson Jordan Blofsky of Newport.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Paul Carr, two brothers and two sisters.
