Carl Sethre, 82, Fergus Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 5, at Broen Memorial Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Hedemarken Lutheran Church. The Rev. Erik Holleque will officiate, and burial will be the church cemetery.
One of 11 children of Christian and Laura (Thrugstad) Sethre, he was born Sept. 20, 1903, in Oscar Township. Most of his lifetime was spent farming the family farm. Mr. Sethre was also a carpenter. He resided at River Bend Apartments after retiring and then entered the nursing home three months ago.
On Sept. 25, 1936, he and Emily Brodahl were married in Hedemarken Lutheran Church. His wife died in November of 1975.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and resume at the church one hour prior to services.
