The notice that we gave on Saturday of the death of Mrs. Samuel Jackson was premature. Her son-in-law, Clate Miner, from whom we received the notice, had been misinformed. She was very ill at the residence of Mrs. Jack, near Caney, and was so anxious to get home that an effort was made to move her. Jake Moore's wagonette, properly fitted up went after her yesterday morning. She seemed to be standing the trip remarkably well, but at 3 p.m. at Tyro, suddenly expired in the wagonette. The remains were brought here and the funeral will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the Christian church, of which she was a member. Mrs. Jackson only lacked a few days of being 79 years of age.
