Services Wednesday For Ernest Anderson, 89, Funeral services for Ernest Jackson Anderson, 89, Ava, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clinkingbeard Chapel with the Rev. Robert Roberts officiating. Burial was in Denlow Cemetery, near Norwood. A lifelong resident and farmer of Douglas County, Mr. Anderson died at 3 a.m. Monday, July 23, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, following a long illness He was a member of First General Baptist Church of Ava. Born Oct. 11, 1900, at Denlow, he was the son of Elijah and Lizetta (Luttrell) Anderson. He married Virginia Trotter, on June 14, 1919, at Union Nebr. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bud and Wayne, both of Ava; three daughters, Fern Bishop and Wanda Haynes, both of Ava, and Hester Lupton, of Ozark; one brother, Jake Anderson, Mtn. Grove; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons, Howard and Robert, and two infant sons, one daughter, Hazel, one granddaughter, Kay, and one great-granddaughter.
