OBITUARY: At Rosetta - Mrs. Beatty a Native of Hardin County, Dies

Mrs. Sarah Beatty died February 22, 1902, at her home at Rosetta, Kentucky. The deceased was born and raised in Hardin County near Big Clifty. She was married to F. M. Beatty in early girlhood and together they journeyed through life for fifty years. Their early married life was spent in Grayson County near Leitchfield, removing from thence to Rosetta, in which place they have resided twenty-three years. Mrs. Beatty was a devout Christian woman, strong in her convictions as to right and wrong. She was a faithful member of the Rosetta Southern Methodist Church. The mother of eight living children who are all grown and well settled in life, she was surrounded by all at her death. Mrs. Beatty had been in bad health for the last two years, but her family never thought of her real condition until some three weeks previous to her death, when alarming symptions evinced themselves, and with which she was not constitutionally able to cope. Her sufferings were great, though she never murmured, but bore them with Christian fortitude. She was conscious of her condition and ready when the Master said, "Well done thou good and faithful servant." ( A Friend)
