EMDEN--John Mammen, 66, died at his home in Boynton Township at noon Thursday after a lingering illness. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the home. The Rev. Oscar Chindberg will officiate. Burial will be in Hartsburg Union
cemetery.
Surviving are the widow; son Alva, at home; Mrs. Sophis Kroning, Cayuga; Mrs. Nellie Veerman, Pekin; Mrs. Gertrude Brennaman, Emden, and two brothers, Chris of Emden and George of Chillicothe, Mo.
