Lucille (Magher) Celmer was born on March 5, 1909 in Morse Bluff, Nebraska to William J. Magher and Josephine Rochford Magher, and passed away in Tacoma on January 2, 1997. She graduated from the University of Nebraska and taught in the high school at Rockville, NE until moving to Tacoma in 1941. She taught at was preceded in death by her husband, Joe. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Stearns and husband, Dale, Grand Island, NE; brother-in-law, Ted Celmer, Grand Island, NE; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Wikle, Meridian, ID, Eldine Celmer, Puyallup; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 7, 1997, 10:00 am, St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, January 6, 7:00 pm at the 1002 S. Yakima Ave. Chapel. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements by Gaffney, Cassedy, Allen and Buckley King.
