Statesboro - Mrs. Cathrine Lanier Hagan, 78, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was retired from Logan Hagan Welding Supply Co. Inc. where she worked as a book- keeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Magnolia Garden Club and the Wanderers Camping Club. Mrs. Hagan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Logan Hagan, Sr. Survivors: two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Logan Hagan Jr. and his wife Pat of Statesboro, and Daniel Clay Hagan and his wife Jane of Statesboro; five grandchildren, Susan Patrick, Tripp Hagan, Kim Hagan, Lisa Hagan, and Phillip Hagan; one great-grandchild, Logan Hagan; one sister, Letane Schuller of Savannah; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fay Pirkle and her husband John of Augusta, and Mrs. Patsy Metts of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Wednesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Hodges- Turner-Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services 11:00 a.m., Thursday at First Baptist Church with Dr. H. William Perry officiating. Burial: Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers: Fred Schuller, Richard Schuller, John Ed Pirkle, Darrell Colson, Paul Quill, Vernon Collins, Randy Powers, and Jeff Eason. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of the Seekers Sunday School Class. Memorial contributions may be made to the Statesboro First Baptist Church Fellowship Fund, 108 North Main St., Statesboro, GA. 30458.
