Margaret Heddie Turner, 83, of Elkton, died on Saturday, Aug 5, 2006 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aug 31, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Fred and Dora Lam Offenbacker.
Mrs. Turner was a member of the Mennonite church and was an avid quilter.
Her husband, Ben Franklin Turner, died on Oct 3, 1971.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce M Meadows and Louise Jobe, both of Elkton; two brothers, Freddie Offenbacker of Goshen and Phillip Offenbacker of Weyers Cave; two sisters, Betty Hensley of Elkton and Violet Higgens of Maryland; eight grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Turner Kite.
Burial in the George Comer Cemetery.
